About

Why Global ElectroSpec Exists

After decades of engineering, military service, government support, quality leadership, and electronics manufacturing experience, Dr. Keith Peterson founded Global ElectroSpec with a simple mission: to improve how the electronics manufacturing industry understands, applies, and advances technical requirements.

Background

For more than three decades I have worked across military, government, engineering, quality, and electronics manufacturing.

Throughout that journey I repeatedly encountered the same challenge. Technical knowledge existed. Finding it. Understanding it. Applying it consistently. Those were the difficult parts.

Global ElectroSpec was founded to solve those problems — to provide the electronics manufacturing industry with truly independent technical expertise, objective assessments grounded in evidence and recognized standards, and a long-term vision for making engineering knowledge more accessible to everyone who depends on it.

Global ElectroSpec does not sell products, software, or vendor-affiliated services. Every engagement is driven entirely by your technical requirements and applicable standards — not by commercial relationships or product commissions. This independence is fundamental to the value we provide.
